The Lisbon School of Health (ESSL) will host the workshop "Sensory Alterations, Dietary Adherence and Health Outcomes: Implications for Clinical Practice – Oncology and Obese Patients", led by researchers and professors from the University of Florence, on June 8th from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM – sala 2.1
In this workshop, you will learn about:
- Chemosensory alterations during chemotherapy
- Strategies for identifying and managing sensory alterations in clinical practice.
- How to personalise dietary interventions to improve patients’ experiences and health outcomes.
- Contributions to reducing food waste in hospital food services.

About Sara Spinelli and Erminio Monteleone
Professor Sara Spinelli and Professor Erminio Monteleone, from the University of Florence, are members of the European Sensory Science Society and are internationally recognized experts in sensory science related to eating behaviour, with applications in clinical nutrition, public health, and food service.
